Thrilling to the last minute. The vote for the best player of the month March was like this. In the end, Eric Ramirez, who finished of fifteen votes in front of his teammate Kay, win this award. In third place was the Croatian midfielder Marko Tešija.
"I feel very comfortable here, Senica is a small town, but very quiet. As for the guys in the locker room, I understand everyone well," said the young 20-year-old striker Eric Ramirez. Player of MFK Karvina scored his first goal in Fortuna league in Myjava against Trencin. We won this match and it was also our first three points in the league at the second part of the season. "I´m happy for the goal I managed to scored against Trencin. But I´m not just here to scoring goals, I want to help the team in every single aspect," explains Venezuelan youth.
In an even more impressive way, a tall one hundred and seventy-five-foot tall football player performed in a cup match against Nitra. His excellent performance was crowned with four goals in the first half, contributing to a high 5:1 victory. "After the match I got a lot of news from my family and friends. Everyone was happy. They knew I worked very hard for the moment," Ramirez reveals.
His loan in Senica was the result of the first half of the season in MFK Karvina. He played only thirty minutes in thirteen games in the Czech first divison, but he managed to score twice. Changing the environment and leaving Karvina was more than a logical choice. "On my own initiative, I wanted to leave. I need to play and improve on a regular basis. Sports director of FK Senica has been watching me for a while. When the opportunity came, he tried to get me. Today I am here in Senica," told Eric Ramirez.
So he found the necessary game time for football progress in region Záhorie. The situation that our team is currently in is identical to what his club was in last season. Karvina fought for rescue in the Czech highest competition until the last round. In it Karvina was able to win in Jihlava in the direct fight for rescue: "Yes, I have experienced the same situation last season, so I have some experience in this way. In this way i can help the team mentally."
Beginning in Europe was not easy for him, as an 18-year-old left Venezuela and headed for Europe, namely our western neighbors in the Czech Republic. "It was a very challenging time for me, but I always remembered that I was playing my dream in Europe," says the young man, who adds: "My father lives with me, he is my support, he is very supportive of me and he is on for me that I am extremely grateful to him." Asking about his football dream he is very clear: "One day I would like to play for the national team of Venezuela, I would also like to play the prestigious Champions League," concludes Erik Ramirez.
